Lemon Drop,  Heirloom

(73 days).  Expect heavy sets of ", translucent yellow, sweet-tart cherry tomatoes.  Very productive determinate plants that keep on fruiting during inclement weather when other tomatoes varieties stop.  Lemon Drop plants are not too tall and can be container grown, and are successful in the greenhouse.        The bite-size fruits are great for snacking or added to salads. The slight tart flavor won Lemon Drop the SSE's 2010 tomato-tasting award.
Tom* and Carol really enjoy the Lemon Drop tomatoes they harvested from homegrown plants the first week in July.
A few early girls were just starting to turn red Carol informed me.
After exercising their 1st Amendment Right to voice their opinion freely in front of the entrance of the Aurora Planned Parenthood abortion mill,
the devoted couple headed home to Joliet to erect a fence that would hopefully keep varmints out of their vegetable patch.
Lemon Drop was discovered by Florida SSE member, J. T. Sessions, growing among his Snow White Cherry plants.
